Hi, I'm Luke!
I have always loved looking at the world in miniature. Museum dioramas, railway maquettes, small building models – I could stand there for a long time, admiring how such a small scene could contain so many details.
When I was eight years old, my parents bought me my first model kit: a Spitfire aeroplane. I glued it together in less than two hours and completely skipped the painting stage (I didn't have the right paints and tools anyway). There were glue stains everywhere, and the decals barely stuck to the bare plastic. And yet I proudly displayed it on my shelf for many years.
Thanks to the good old computer game Panzer Elite (thanks, Dad!), my interests soon shifted to military vehicles. Years have passed, I am now in my late thirties, and my passion for model making continues.
Here on this blog, I share my creative process, painting experiments, and finished models – not only as a personal record, but also as a source of inspiration for other modellers.
I do hope you will find plenty of content here to spark your creativity.
